888 stars, 888stars, stars 888: why one name is spelled so many ways
The brand is called 888starz — with a ‘z’ at the end and no space. But the name is heard more often than read: in ads, from friends, in messengers. Spoken, it is ‘stars’, and the search box gets ‘888 stars’, the joined ‘888stars’ or the swapped ‘stars 888’. All of these lead to the same platform; the operator has no separate site for each spelling.
The confusion is harmless as long as it stays in search. It becomes a problem when ‘888 stars’ is typed into the address bar and lands on a third-party domain with a similar name: it may be a copy of the site harvesting logins. Hence the first rule — enter only through the address the operator publishes itself, or through the app.
888 stars and the 888 group (888casino, 888sport) are different companies
The second confusion is more serious. There is an old gambling brand with the same number: 888casino, 888sport and 888poker of a British group (now evoke, formerly 888 Holdings) licensed in the UK, Gibraltar and Malta. That group has nothing to do with 888starz: a different operator, a different licence, different rules and different markets. It does not open accounts in soums and does not take Humo.
If you searched for ‘888 stars’ to play from Uzbekistan, you need 888starz. The two brands are compared in the table below; from here on we talk only about it.
Who owns 888starz and under which licence it operates
The platform is run by Bittech B.V., registered in Curaçao under number 153870. It operates under licence OGL/2024/665/0201. The project launched in 2020 and by 2026 had gathered over 400,000 registered users; the interface is translated into dozens of languages, including Russian.
For the player a licence means there is a rulebook: betting rules, payout timings (up to two days to review a request), verification procedure and bonus terms are published and can be referred to in a dispute. The licence is international, though, not Uzbek — the legality of taking part remains the player’s own matter.
What is inside: sport, casino, 888Games
Three big sections. Sport — a line of over a thousand events a day, around 30 markets on a popular match, live, esports and virtual sports; odds and margin are covered separately on the 888 stars bet page. Casino — slots, live dealers, bingo and TV games; how to find your way around the catalogue is on the casino page. 888Games — the platform’s own quick games: Lucky Wheel, Crash, roulettes and tournaments with prizes that need no wagering.
One account for everything: the soum balance is shared between sport and casino, you switch sections in one window, and only one welcome package is chosen — sport (200% on four deposits) or casino (200% + 150 free spins).
What a player from Uzbekistan gets
The local cashier is the main argument. At registration you pick UZS, and everything is then counted in soums without conversion. Deposits: a Humo card from 10,000 UZS, an Uzcard / Humo (P2P) transfer and the Payme wallet from 30,000 UZS, international Visa and MasterCard, cryptocurrencies. Crediting is instant and the operator charges no fee.
On top comes a local promo — a 25% bonus on Humo or Uzcard deposits, once a day, wagered with accumulators — plus the general promos: reloads on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekly cashback of 3% on sport and 10% on casino, 888Games Day on Wednesdays. Withdrawals go through the same cashier, to your own payment instrument, after document verification.
Where to start if you searched for ‘888 stars’
The order is simple. Open the operator’s site or install the app — how to download 888 stars is described step by step. Register ‘in one click’ with Uzbekistan and UZS, complete your profile straight away and confirm your phone and e-mail: without that, bonuses are not credited. Choose a package — sport or casino — before the first deposit, deposit via Humo and place a first bet or launch a first game with a small amount.
And keep two names in mind: 888starz is your brand, and ‘888 stars’ is just how people write it from memory. Sites that call themselves the ‘official 888 stars’ do not belong to the operator.
